Why Kauai?

Every year, we are fortunate enough to be invited to stay with friends and family to enjoy summer on Kauai. It's a beautiful and pristine island. Unscathed by the decline of neighboring sister island Oahu of all increased population, freeway traffic, and chaotic and crowded looking building skyscrapers in Honolulu.

When you fly into Lihue, Kauai, you get a sense this is clearly an island visit and vacation. Your heartbeat begins to decrease and your mind begins to be one with the island landscape of calmness and serenity.

This year is once again a special one, but most importantly a well deserved vacation for us. When one works constantly and manage to see loved ones a few hours a day is really a take back of our lives. The notion or choice to, "live to work" or "work to live" comes into play.

This place seems to satisfy and calm what many of yearn for, completeness and balance in life. I hope to see this journey continues during this vacation break.
